Tres Rangit

Boards that left the room

Projects 47. Each one started with a recce in Chișinău and ended with a dated sheet the crew could hold on the floor.

Columns of process cards for a bakery week

Buiucani ovens

Three shops, one night bake, one van. The week was living in a group chat: dough times slipped, the Ciocana shop opened late, and Friday trays were guessed on Thursday night.

We stood the night crew at the table on Varlaam and laid every bake as a card. Mix, prove, oven, pack, van. Anything without a named baker came off. The wall now starts at 21:40 on Sunday and names who holds the 04:10 dispatch.

Handover of the sheet: Tuesday 16:00, same week as the recce. The crew still photographs the wall before they leave the bakery.

Workshop hall used for a theatre season plot

Season on București

A house on str. București needed the season on one wall: rehearsal rooms, lighting plot nights, the truck that takes the set to Bălți, and the dark week when the stage is painted.

We recce’d a Thursday technical. Cards for each room, then a second row for the people who cannot be in two rooms. Load-in nights got a hard stop at 23:00 because the street gate closes.

The plotter ran a 2.4-metre strip for the foyer. Stage management keeps a fold of it in the prompt book. Review is the Monday after opening, not a call three months later.

Tape timeline used for a permit sequence

Courtyard on Armenească

A rebuild in the Centre could not put scaffold up until the last stamp sat on the file. The contractor had a Gantt that skipped the wait at the municipal window.

We walked the file, then pinned the real sequence: neighbours’ notice, arborist note for the lime in the yard, fire access drawing, then the appointment. Each wait got a card with a clock time, not a bar.

First scaffold date moved by eleven days — later than hoped, early enough that the lime stayed. The sheet went to the site hut the afternoon of the recce.

Plotter bay where press-week sheets are printed

Print house, Ciocana

Two presses, one plate room, a week that broke every time a rush job arrived after lunch. The planner sat in an office; the floor ran on shouts.

Cards for plate, make-ready, run, wash-up. We froze plate changes after Wednesday noon unless the owner stood at the wall and moved the card in front of the crew. The sheet hangs above the ink bench, not in email.

Material due: colour targets the Friday before. If the file is late, the card comes off. That rule is on the wall in one line.

Hands laying field-day cards in order

Bîc field days

A river-cleanup group needed dates that survived weather and a minibus that only seats fourteen. Last year the Saturday was announced in a post, then moved twice.

We pinned a wet spare week, a kit list with owners, and a cutoff for the driver. Bags, gloves, and the municipal skip each have a card. If the skip is not confirmed by Wednesday, the Saturday card comes down.

The board lives in a room on Ismail for the season. We review after each field day, twenty minutes, standing.

Bring the week that already hurts

If the floor already has a failed chart, send that. We plan from the work, not from a blank calendar.
